Description

The Sorachi Ace hop is often described as a “UFO” in the brewing world. Originally created in Japan by the Sapporo brewery, this unique cross between Saaz and Brewer’s Gold offers an aroma signature that cannot be mistaken for any other: a powerful blend of lemongrass, citrus and sometimes dill.

It is a highly vigorous variety that excels in dry beer styles such as Saisons, IPAs or Witbiers. Thanks to its high alpha acids content (11.5 – 16%), it can be used both for bittering and for aroma, for bold results. Offered here as a 10x10x10 cm plug, this plant benefits from a nutrient reserve and an already structured root system. It is the ideal compromise to avoid the high cost of bare root while ensuring a much faster growth rate than a standard pot.
