Description

The Cashmere hop, released in 2013 by Washington State University, is the result of a cross between Cascade and Northern Brewer. It quickly earned its reputation among brewers for its “silky” aroma profile, which gave it its name. More complex than Cascade, it offers a unique tropical dimension with pronounced notes of ripe melon and coconut.

In the field, Cashmere stands out for its excellent vigour and good adaptability. Its modern genetics allow it to produce substantial biomass, which translates into a generous harvest of cones rich in essential oils. For a detailed analysis of its chemical characteristics and growing advice, see the page on ListeHoublon.fr.

Our 10x10x10 cm plug plants let you make the most of this premium variety from the first season. The volume of substrate ensures a stress-free transition from the nursery to your plot, encouraging a strong start in spring. It is the right investment for those who want professional-quality production with simpler handling.

Growing Cashmere successfully requires a solid trellis structure to support its fast growth. Discover our hop yard equipment and take advantage of our technical support to optimise the establishment of your plants.
