Description
Flexible galvanized steel cable, also called wire rope or steel wire cable, for trellising, fencing, guying and hop yard structures. It comes on a reel: 200 m of cable in one piece. Also on a 1,000 m reel.

Good to know
The breaking load is the force at which the cable fails, not the load it can carry in use. We recommend a safety factor of 5: a 1,500 kg cable carries about 300 kg in service.
Not for lifting. This cable is not a certified lifting accessory: do not use it to lift or suspend loads, or to restrain people.
To join and tension: we recommend 3 wire rope clips per joint, spaced 6 to 8 cable diameters apart. For a 2 to 5 mm cable, use the 6.5 mm cable clamp (pack of 10 or box of 100). The frog-type cable puller tensions the cable before clamping; screw-in ground anchors take the load at each end.
