Description

Discover the Willamette hop, a historic mainstay of American cultivation, now available for your terroir. A direct descendant of the famous English variety Fuggle, this triploid hop has won over craft brewers with its great versatility and aromatic finesse.

Growing Willamette means choosing a highly vigorous plant that adapts particularly well to temperate climates. Its small to medium-sized cones release a complex sensory profile combining herbal and floral notes (chamomile, lavender) with fruity touches of berries or peach. For a more detailed analysis of its chemical characteristics (alpha acids between 4 and 6%), see the full profile on ListeHoublon.fr.

Our plants are delivered in a 10x10x10 cm plug, a professional format that ensures robust rooting and immediate establishment as soon as it goes into the ground. Unlike more fragile young plugs, this root volume allows rapid growth above ground, which is essential if you are hoping for a significant first harvest.

Advice: To set up your hop yard successfully, whether it is a few plants or a larger area, we recommend reading our guides on choosing your site and the techniques of winter planting for an optimal start in spring.
